Photo Dead Log Full of Life Moss Forest Floor Pines Duck Creek Village Utah

The forest floor is full of surprises. This "dead" log was no exception. A fascinating and unique variety of life was sprouting from this dead tree, from various shades of green and red moss to little green plants appearing to be trumpets. I was delighted to capture this "life from death" on the forest floor in Swains Creek in Duck Creek Village, Utah.
